First acquired in 2014, our Qualicoat certification remains an integral part of our manufacturing process today. By bringing our painting process entirely in-house, we have maintained total control over quality and consistency for over ten years.
Jeremy Dunn, Glazing Vision’s Technical Director, explains the significance; “Our primary reason for joining Qualicoat UK & Ireland was to demonstrate our capability to provide a quality coating on our products using a chrome free pre-treatment whilst bringing the whole painting process in-house.”

To achieve this, all rooflight frames are pre-treated in our specialized non-chromate paint plant using our Vixen Phoswash technology. This system cycles through various pre-treatment stages without the need for traditional, large-scale tanks, resulting in a significantly more energy-efficient and sustainable process.

For our clients, particularly those in harsh maritime or coastal environments across the UK and Ireland, this continued certification offers peace of mind. It ensures that every unit is not only aesthetically pleasing but also structurally protected against corrosion for the long term.
