Access Your Roof Terrace at the Touch of a Button
The Glazing Vision SkyDoor is a hinged opening rooflight designed for regular roof terrace access. At the press of a button, the unit opens smoothly to give you safe and easy access to your roof space.
Intelligent actuators ensure the opening mechanisms work in perfect sync, opening the SkyDoor to a maximum of 87° in one fluid motion. You can also stop it mid-travel, allowing it to function as a natural ventilation rooflight, ideal for airing out your space on a mild day.
Unlike folding arm mechanisms found in many other access rooflights, our drive opening system provides a much clearer exit onto your roof terrace and allows for larger unit sizes, as the framework experiences less stress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can connect your Glazing Vision rooflight to your Building Management System, which allows you to effortlessly and intelligently control the unit.
A proximity sensor is a sensor able to detect the presence of nearby objects, the SkyDoor proximity sensors work by emitting a beam which will automatically stop travel of the rooflight when any 'object' disrupts the beam. It is against the Machinery Directive to not include a proximity detector on an access rooflight.
Glazing Vision provides a rain sensor as an optional extra which allows the rooflight to automatically close when rain is detected, allowing your home interior to be protected from the elements.
