The Internal Walk On Rooflight is commonly used to distribute natural daylight in a home (Without sacrificing usable space) or to showcase notable features underground that would otherwise be hidden.
The standard glass specification is designed to withstand regular foot traffic in UK domestic applications with uniform loading’s of 1.5kN/m² and concentrated loading’s of 2.0kN in accordance with BS EN 1991-1-1-1:2002.

Structural integrity of the Flushglaze Internal Walk On Rooflight is assured through the use of finite element analysis (FEA) and testing.
Unless otherwise stated, the default loadings used for specifying walk-on glass will be a distributed load of 1.50 kN/m² and a concentrated load of 2.00 kN per a 50 mm x 50mm square area (standard domestic loadings). A variety of anti-slip finishes are available for walk-on glass.
The Flushglaze Internal Walk On Rooflight has been expertly designed with security as a priority - The product has been approved by the BBA and features QualiCoat approved aluminum framework.
