With its secure locking mechanism and precise engineering by our in-house team, the Glazing Vision SkyHatch Rooflight ensures peace of mind alongside its elegant design.
Available in both manual and electric operation, the Manual SkyHatch Rooflight uses a combination of gas struts and spring assisted opening mechanisms to make the unit easier to open and remain stable in the open position. The Electric SkyHatch is operated effortlessly from a wall switch, offering connectivity to your Building Management System as well as intelligent Rain Sensors and Thermostat. The Electric Access SkyHatch can be utilised for natural ventilation when partially opened.

Structural integrity of the SkyHatch Access Rooflight is assured through the use of finite element analysis (FEA) and testing. Further information and specific performance details can be obtained from your Technical Sales Advisor.
The Glazing Vision SkyHatch Rooflight has been designed by our in-house team with security as a priority - The product is tested to LPS2081 Issue 1:2015, approved by the Loss Prevention Certification Board and Secured by Design.
To achieve Security Rating A, the inner pane must be at least 8.8 mm PVB laminated glass (two 4 mm thick panes separated by an 0.8 mm thick PVB interlayer).
To achieve Security Rating B, the inner pane must be at least 9.5 mm ionomer laminated glass (two 4 mm thick panes separated by a 1.5 mm thick ionomer interlayer).

No, the SkyHatch Rooflight is for irregular, maintenance access therefore a ladder needs to be used - Installing a staircase underneath for access will be against Building Regulations.
We offer a range of regular access rooflights; The SkyDoor Rooflight or our stylish Box Rooflights.
We offer two operations; Manual or Electric. The Manual SkyHatch is opened using two handles mounted on the lid frame, with the opening assisted by gas struts and spring assisted opening mechanisms. The Electric SkyHatch is opened using a supplied wall mounted switch, driven by two scissor linkage mechanisms, mounted on either side.
Glazing Vision provides a rain sensor as an optional extra which allows the rooflight to automatically close when rain is detected, allowing your home interior to be protected from the elements.
No, you can not order just the glass from us as we assemble the entire rooflight unit in our in house factory to ensure a high level of quality.
