Directly Responsible to: Production Manager
The Role:
Produce finished roof lights to company schedules and drawings, while maintaining excellent housekeeping and following the company’s ISO 9001 2015 quality policy.
Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery to create parts and sub-assemblies for final assembly into rooflights (training provided)
Ensure work area is tidy and organised
Store products and components in such way as not to lead to damage, defects or a safety hazard
Carry out any reasonable request given by Line Supervisor
Skills required:
Must be able to use hand tools
Excellent time management skills
Be able to work on own initiative
Able to work in a target driven environment
Essential:
Good verbal and written English
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures/practice
Desirable:
Forklift licence (training provided if not and if required)
Abrasive wheels
Hours of Work: Full-time- 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours a day from 07:30 am to 3:30pm
Pay: From minimum wage, dependent on skills & qualifications
