Launched this year by The Rooflight Association, this new member-voted accolade was created to celebrate the individuals who go above and beyond to champion the rooflight sector.
What Makes a 'Voice of the Industry'?
Being shortlisted isn't just about professional success; it’s about sector-wide impact. The award recognises those who:
Foster Collaboration: Bringing members together to solve industry-wide challenges.
Champion Quality: Promoting the benefits of high-specification daylighting.
Support Peers: Mentoring others and driving best practices.
Show Dedication: Years of service focused on advancing the built environment.
Both Jon and Jeremy have spent their careers advocating for these values, ensuring that Glazing Vision doesn't just follow industry standards, we help set them.
As a former Chairman of NARM (National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers) and the current Chair of the Rooflight Association’s Marketing Committee, Jon has spent years bridging the gap between manufacturers and the wider construction industry. His work representing the association at the Construction Products Association (CPA) ensures that the rooflight sector has a seat at the table when major industry shifts are on the horizon.
With an impressive 41 years in the glazing industry, 37 of them focusing on rooflights, Jeremy is one of the sector's most respected technical minds. His influence is obvious at high levels; he currently sits on The Rooflight Association’s Technical Committee and Chairs the BSI Committee (B/542/8). Beyond the UK, Jeremy represents British interests on the European stage (CEN) and serves as a member of the European Commission’s CPR Aquis Sub-group, directly shaping the regulations that keep our industry safe and compliant.
