Following a competitive shortlist that included our own Group Managing Director, Jon Shooter, the members of The Rooflight Association voted for the first ever Voice of the Industry Award, crowning our Compliance Director, Jeremy Dunn, at a recent ceremony at the Draycote Hotel last week.
The award was voted for by industry peers, reflecting the impact that Jeremy has had, not only on the industry, but his own peers.
This accolade is reserved for those who go above and beyond to champion the rooflight sector. With 42 years in glazing, 38 of those dedicated specifically to rooflights, Jeremy is widely regarded as one of the sector’s most influential technical minds.
As an active member of The Rooflight Association’s Technical Committee, Jeremy has represented the association at both European and International levels. Beyond the association, he chairs a BSI Committee and participates in a CEN working group.
Jon Shooter, Group Managing Director, added; “We are very lucky to have had Jeremy at Glazing Vision for over 20 years, he is known as the guru of the rooflight industry in house for a reason. He is an encyclopedia of standards and regulations. I have learnt so much from Jeremy and I remember fondly the day Jeremy approved of my engineering skills whilst tackling a project in my early career with Glazing Vision. This award is justification for all the time and effort he has put in both at home and abroad to drive standards within the rooflight industry. Congratulations Jeremy”
