Unlike conventional box skylights, the Free Standing Skybox requires no additional support structures, making it an ideal standalone solution for projects where clean lines, minimal visual impact and architectural freedom are priorities.

For projects with strict building codes or planning requirements, the Skybox can be manufactured to a low-profile height. This helps minimize its visual impact while still providing the daylight and access benefits of a raised skylight, making it particularly valuable where the roofline or surrounding views need to be carefully considered.

Safety and security are built into the design. Standard features include solenoid security bolts to help keep the skylight secure, while integrated proximity detectors provide an additional layer of protection for access applications.
